At the risk of being too contraversial:

Is the weather ever shitty here today. 60mph wind, 42deg, and a slow steady rain. Every trip to the manure pile or sawdust bin is just a slap in the face from mother nature.

Definitely going to be a comfort food night.

No wind here........rain all day..........St Calvin scratched out of the 2nd and has one in the 13th......good thing......he's putzed around all day and still has 6 stalls to clean............. 8)

I heard the monkey didn't have herpes until Gary came home for the Jug.

shitty weather??? where???  I had to wade thru knee deep water to bring mama & foal in barn tonite because they would not go thru it and the mare was shivering trying to get warm. It has rained at least 3 in. today and still raining and damn cold too.  Can hardly wait for the snow to freaking start  :'( Looks like we have a wonderful start to a hell of a winter.    :'(

I just drive home totally white knuckled (side note, forgot to put your leather stuff in Steck's truck, Ma)......it was as bad as driving in a snow storm, not the rain but the standing water on Rt 8..........I hate driving at night and in the rain........this makes me feel old, I use to drive EVERYWHERE.....but I was afraid St Calvin was going to make me stick around and help him clean up mud after the 13th.  8)
