the whole system is all screwed up just so they can make a buck.
playing the orange bowl on new year's eve ?
in the the old days it was an all days smorgasboard of football.
the cotton bowl at noon on cbs the rose bowl at 4 on abc and then the sugar and orange at night
plenty to watch at hawthorne if you were busted and your buddies were still betting
now if you are at least 6-6 you qualify for a bowl game

i can remeber how the colleges fought againt  a playoff and playing more than 10 games  because of academics.now everyone plays at least 12 games and the season ends past the 8th of jan

Sure is great seeing Florida State being manhandled by Oregon. They have been the luckiest team in college football this season, but tonight they are paying the fiddler.

Not me , I use to hate the Big 10/Pac 10 matchup .....I cant stand the Big 10 and the only teams worth watching from the Pac 10 back then was UCLA and then USC.

But I agree Keith Jackson was the best
