Holy Shit. Speedy Recovery.

My Question is where was the net?

pezz ,

it was one of those "L" shaped pitching cages and right after he threw it the other kid hit it back at him (30ft away) and half his face was exposed , the ball just came to the right spot. His coach and the athletic trainer did everything by the book by calling the fire department , it was just bad luck.

btw , the new Elmhurst Hospital is a very nice facility  thumbsup

Got hit in the face by a ball in a baseball practice session game where he was the pitcher.

Our heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery of your son, Mr Mo Doc N.

**** I see you still have access to buv. ****

Thank you though for all the well wishes , we are all still kind of down in the dumps because of the implications it might have on his grades since he wants to attend West Point Military Academy when he graduates.

Lets just say I got the sad news through the internet grapevine.

Mr Mo Doc Could you give us an update on your son's condition and how is the treatment going.

excuse me, I was sharing how they handled it with me to give the fella who was currently affected an idea of how they might proceed.

Try reading the topic of thread first before you make the thread all about you .

You can still man up at anytime and wish the kid a speedy recovery like the title of the thread reads.

Thanks for trying to be my internet guiding light.   I posted my speedy recovery/prayer post at the forum where this originated.   It was later while browsing here that I felt like adding my personal exp. with a similar set of circumstances here.   Again thanks for trying to be my internet guidance counselor.  Cheers.

*** Update***

The swelling has gone down and they are confident there is not any nerve or muscle damage to the eye even though half of it is still bloodshot , it looks kind of creepy but the kid thinks it's cool  idunno
He has been drinking a ton of milk to try and heal the bone and it seems to be helping , they said it should heal okay , it is only a slight imperfection.

He will be unable to do any activities until late January and will have to wear one of those protective face masks if he wants to play Baseball again , the Doc said he would not be able to take another blow like that.

again, thank you for all the well wishes
