IMO I think you're 100% spot on ! If he said no Casino expansion period I think

it wouldn't bug me so much but in reality he just said "F" racing in IL. I also

don't understand why he waited so long to come up with this, perhaps he was

waiting for the highest bidder ? Republican, Democrat, Independent, left wing,

right wing they're all a bunch of thieving scoundrels once elected !

  I feel sorry for all the local horsemen who have been abused mentally and financially by both racetrack mgmt. and the "usual politics" of Ill.
  These poor souls put money into the racetrack owners pockets while digging a hole that they will never get out of. Kudos to the trainers and drivers who could see this coming and moved.
    I remember when there were NO casinos. Ill. government bent over backwards to help the racetracks. They wanted their cut. Times sure have changed!!      As usual,FOLLOW THE MONEY !!!!!!
