At 6:15 pm this evening PDST, I was informed that I am to show up at Jury Services tomorrow morning at 9:30 am. Now this really pisses me off. I cannot sit in one place for more than two hours due to health issues, yet these assholes keep calling me back. Every f**king two years like clockwork, I get summoned for this shit.

Alas, I always get out of serving with my smartassed answers to questions the asshole attorneys ask me, but why is it I must waste a day or two every two years out of my life under penalty of contempt of court, just to go sit there and get excused?

Honestly I could never be a good juror. When I'm already pissed off about having been forced under threat of contempt to appear and not be paid my normal appearance fee, I will not be fair nor impartial.

Just curious how they contact you at 6:15 on a Sunday evening ? Anyway if that is the worst thing that

happens to you you're in good shape. I would rather go there than maybe a chemo treatment or say a

dialysis treatment or something real bad, hope it goes quick for you.

   You have to call to see if the number you were given is being used.  Ya think they would know on Friday afternoon.

Now that you mention that, thats how it was here last time I got called.  I got called several times but

since I've moved from cook county have not got called once.
