Autographed Harness whip for auction on ebay - proceeds to go to SRF!

Hi guys,

I hope you don't mind me posting this!  I am not trying to sell anything for myself.

I am auctioning up an autographed whip to send some money to the Standardbred Retirement Foundation.

The previous winner of this auction, which was won over 2 MONTHS ago for $280, has decided to not uphold his obligation to pay, so I have relisted the whip on ebay.  I have gotten nothing but lies and run around for this individual, whose name I will not mention.  It's pretty pathetic when you try to do something for charity and yet people still do the things that they do.

So anyway, all proceeds from this auction will go towards the Standardbred Retirement Foundation.  For anyone who may have issues with this being on the up and up, please feel free to contact Mike Tanner at the USTA or Dana at the SRF and they will be able to confirm this.

As sad as it may be, a loss of a loved one does not exempt you from financial obligations.  Did the buyer stop paying his mortgage and taxes also?  Giving a person an extention at such a time is the right thing to do.  But, I would think a few weeks would be enough.  Not months.
