Scott Ehrlich
« on: February 18, 2013, 07:16:40 PM »
I want to say that I am sorry to see my friend, Scott Ehrlich, having to move on to another gig, no longer employed at Cal Expo.  Scott is a great person, no matter what anyone thinks of his public persona, and I enjoy the conversations about racing that I have with him.  I wish him and his family nothing but the best, no matter what the future holds for them!

He made a very heart felt status on his FB.

Also about his wifes health. Which seems to be OK.

Wish him the best.

I don't like his style much, but I know he's a good guy and many mutual friends say the same. Wish him well in his next endeavors. The people that drag his name through the sewers are known to be dregs, non factors and scumbags... Fuzzy's favorites. You imagine a scumbag drug pimp like Yarter and his buddies running their mouths about a good guy? Good luck Scott.

Scott will be fine.  He's hurt and feeling betrayed as one might imagine.  I spoke personally with Scott a little over a week ago for close to an hour.  Got his side of things and I believe in him and what he said.  The whole ugly situation began as much ado over piddly crap nothing and it blew out of proportions.  Lisa's health was a primary concern and rightfully weighed heavily on him.  I will not go into details of the Cal Ex debacle only to say it never should have come to this.  Scott has been a friend of mine and of harness racing for a long time.  He deserved a better fate and I join the others who have wished him and his family the best.
