Walt Disney World Marathon
« on: January 13, 2013, 02:08:13 PM »
Congratulations to Jeremy and his brother for participating and finishing today.  bowdown

I know they have both been training for the event and went down with the whole family last week to prepare.

I sat at home and ate bacon and eggs while I watched your results post on Facebook..............then I scooted my chair around the room a few times.  lilcheerleader

Way to go! Always an impressive accomplishment. thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup

I'm very fast--for 261/2 feet.  Then, by 50 feet I have come to a stop!

Well I finished today, an hour slower than my goal.  80s and sun is not a good combo.

I did the half yesterday... Its called the goofy challenge, i found out why.

Thanks.

But looking back over the race on the second day, I was so out of it after the race I forgot to let the workers know about an older lady that lost a pin while she was running, that was really important to her because she was talking to herself while she was jogging saying it was just a pin, just a pin it is the medal that is important to Chris.  I overheard her telling another runner that she had no clue when it could have fallen off.  That just makes me depressed.  Hopefully it turned up for her.

:-\.....I do too............no idea what it was..........but it obviously meant a lot to her.............sounds like she has a pretty good perspective on life.
