O.T. ... East coasters
« on: October 30, 2012, 06:27:00 AM »
I hope everyone of our posters anywhere near this storm are safe. I know we have a few friends in the

east, I would not wish this storm on my worst enemy. I see the area me and *Gilligan rode through in our

cab ride is all flooded out, it reminds me of Katrina. Stay safe everyone if there is anyway I or anyone

here can help please let us know, we have the kind of group of people here who care and though we're

not perfect I know we have each others back.

A loved one of mine with a stable in NJ lost power before the brunt of the storm. It'll be nice when I hear all is OK.

A horseman will always step up to help a fellow horseman. (even if he's an asshole) We are just built that way... it's always about the horse.
Somewhere in Kenya a village is missing it's idiot.

Saw a pretty nasty report on JJ's hometown where the bay met the ocean.

Hoping JJ & family are okay.

Saw that report.  JJ's a smart guy, he most likely left the area
if that is what was suggested.

President Obama put up a seawall that protected us.

I thought his hands looked kind of rough.  He really should wear better gloves when working on seawalls.   I know you must be worried that if Romney wins, he will have the saewall torn down. Glad you are safe for now.

Thankfully, President Obama put up a seawall that protected us.

It was actually a wall meant to divide us.  He just built it in the wrong place but as you can clearly see, his wall is strong.

I guess they taught him that pretty well in Kenya!  rflmao1

Just thought you folks should know: Finally heard back from JJ.  It is not a pretty sight.  His description of what's going on there is utter chaos with no help in sight & he has not ruled out anything as far as protecting his family.

Thoughts & prayers for him and the others.

I grew up on Rockaway Beach where there have been many reports of major problems & I have a clear view in my mind of what is likely going on in that neighborhood, where virtually everyone I grew up with was either mugged or had a car stolen.  This is way worse that I ever expected.

Praying for all that have seen their homes and lives torn apart.   We only see what the news wants to show us and I'm sure it is way worse, if that is possible.  Never seeing a storm like this I can only imagine the heartaches and horrors.  Lord help them recover and heal from this  as quickly as possible.
