With a new owner and probably some coaching and front office changes, not sure why it would be hard for the Browns to swallow their pride and draft a QB next year.  However it isn't their most pressing issue.

Gordon had Wheeden have done well the past few weeks with connecting on long passes.

The kicker's first name is Phil

Must be a lot of good QB's in the league if Wheeden is in the bottom 3.  Of course you can't always go by completion percentage because there are a lot of balls perfectly placed that the receivers have been dropping.  He has made some stupid rookie mistakes that he will hopefully cut down on in the second half of the year.

The best Qb in next year's draft is Barkley and it is not even close. He will be the number 1 pick no doubt about it

I know Barkley's the highest TOUTED QB but he reminds of the last 1st round QB from USC who I never liked.  I was hoping Landry Jones would come out last year for the Fins - that's how much I like him.  Talk to you about it in 3 or 4 years!

I'm also on record for hating Sam Bradford, Tebow, Cam Newton & RG III & loving Rodgers, Eli & Romo.  I never said I'd get them all right!

Phil, huh?  You sure?  Really, are you sure?  rflmao1
Got ya!

Seriously though, are you saying Holmgren will be gone?

And yes, Weeder is bottom 3, along with Blaine Gabbbbbbert, Mark Sanchize  & the little leaguer from Tennessee.  What do you mean, that's 4?  idunno

Gabberett is going to be the poster chile of the new CBA. Not a long term big time investment for owners on first round picks, and it makes it easier for them to admit they made a mistake

I sure made one about the dolphins. I thought they would be the worst team in the league and I was wrong. They need to get Tannehill some help outside. But when you can stop the run and run the ball, you can still be competitive in this league. And Tannehill has been pretty impressive so far.

They are treading in the right direction. Have some playmakers on offense finally.
As you know the Clownies are the YOUNGEST team in football!!! That will still probably be the same next year. I know this sounds crazy but the way they are building, it reminds me of the Old DALLAS Cowboys with Johnson as the head coach. Same with the Cav's since LeQuit left the team they went with a young team that's has a lot of their own draft picks.

Chris Grant so far has been a good GM.

If I could bet a few years into the future I would bet the browns to win the super bowl in the 2015-2016 season.

I really like what they are doing. They had no choice but to take Weeden after they couldn't or wouldn't make a trade. Colt is not a starter in the league, and it is not a big time, long term investment like it used to be. Richardson is the real deal, I told you guys about Gordon. ( He played 2 years ago with RGIII, and Wright at baylor before getting kicked off the team) Keep him in line, he was RGIII's favorite receiver that year. IMO, They are definitely going in the right direction. I expect Holmgrem to be launched in the offseason by the new owner. I think everthing else will stay the same.

The windows are open at 30-1.  That's 30 small cokes to one.  No ice, of course!

Well, the north is wide open now with 3 Ravens going down to injury, including Ray Lewis who's career may be over.

Oh, by the way, you guys are totally insane.

I told you he'd be great & they'd win at least 4 games!  shootme

On the other hand, I too thought they'd be the worst team in the league.

After 6 weeks, only 2 teams in the AFC have a winning record.  I believe Houston clinched the south already, even with their loss.  ;)

As I told you before, I was one of the biggest critics for the Clownies since they came back to the league. There was nothing to look forward to. BUT now they have a nucleus of YOUNG TALENT!!! Weeden, I don't expect him to be here long!! but Richardson is the real deal. Pezz was right about Gordon. The guy has 4 td catches in the last couple of games. A couple of "bombs" ( a year and back, a bomb for the Clownies was a throw for 15 yards)!!!! rflmao1 Two of their starters on the defense are out. Again The Clownies need 2 linebackers BAD!!! No speed there! plus a cb. Give them a OL right side tackle and or guard and then watch this team!!!!  Again this team is the youngest in football, and THAT'S A FACT!!!! Hopefully the new owner(having been part owner of the Steelers) will be able to get a couple of PRIZED FA in the offseason.

At least this team Dolfan is going into a direction FINALLY! can you say that with Miami? for the last 10 years or so they were supposed to be good and challenge for the Super Bowl by a lot of "experts" and then there was disappointment in Dolf' land As we know the Clownies were supposed to be a bad team since they came back to the league. Bad drafting has left them saying wait till next year, with Tim (OUCH I mean) Tim Couch being the WORST PICK PROBABLY EVER IN THE NFL DRAFT!

I thought  Tom Heckert was the GM in Cleveland ?

Lets not get carried away with the Super Bowl talk !! after all you have a rookie QB thats 29 years old (2nd round pick )  slaphead

by the time Cleveland has all the pieces in place to compete Weeden might be out of the league.

I do think Weeden will be a back-up QB. But the Clownies aren't that far off as you think. Now talk about those INJUNS and that's another story!!! They have what maybe two guys that other organizations would trade for!!! Sin Soo Choo and Chris Perez!!! everything else!!! rflmao1 rflmao1 I also heard from a couple of various baseball people that they are considering bringing Travis Haffner and Grady Seizmore back as FA signings at a REDUCED amount. (True too there's no way I can make this shit up!!!) Hey why not bring back Rico Carty ( THE MON) rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1

The answer to your question is that the Dolphins are quite possibly finally going in the right direction.  And no, they were not supposed to "challenge for a Super Bowl" since the 90's & the Browns have lived up to that expectation.  You can be the youngest team, blah, blah, blah & in a few years again be the youngest losers.  Browns will never be in contention, IMO, while Holmgren is calling the shots.  He's a coach, nothing more.
