Middle East Outrage.
« on: September 12, 2012, 06:36:37 PM »
Attacking our embassy and killing our Ambassador is an act of war.  I sick of all this BS.  In another matter, somebody makes a film critical of the prophet and that is an excuse for murder.
I've seen were people pissed on pictures of the Blessed Virgin, but I wouldn't even think of getting a machine gun and murdering people.  It looks like kill or be killed pure and simple.
This is America. People have the right of free speech and they can critisize the prophet or anyone or anything else.  That is what our leader should be telling the world,  not bowing before kings and making excuses.
In another matter, why the hell don't we make it very clear that Isreal is our friend and ally and we stand firm with them?
This apologetics with the Arab world has got us nowhere.  You help them and they spit on you.  Enough already.
(sorry if I'm rambling, but I  am furious)

That is what's causing murders and riots in the middle east and across the world? I feel like I just wasted 14 minutes watching the dumb thing, but I surely see nothing worth killing over.

Bunch of savages.  hammerhead1

It's an excuse not the cause.

To be a native of the middle east is to live a stone age life. Once the countries that had colonized the many countries that make up the big sand pile left a huge void was created that , to this day has not been totally filled.
I spent something like 2 1/2 years of my life in such basic shi#holes as Saudi Arabia, Iran when the Shah was still around, and the hi-lite of the experience, Yemen. One is the same as the next or the last. A remarkable class structure featuring the haves and the have nots.  Most of the halves are some kind of self proclaimed "royal family". In the case of Iran it's the ayatollahs and the military. In Yemen no one has been able to figure it out but since they have very little natural resource (read "oil") no one gives a camels arse.  All are dictators, ruling for life.
As a day to day citizen then you have very little to strive for. Most of the countries do little in the way of commercial trade other than crude oil. Since the sale of crude is solely the property of the government there is little "small business" to support a middle class. All, therefore depend on the government for entitlement largess, much like the bamster forsees for the US, and are thus easily controlled by those in the hallowed halls. When there is an opportunity to blow off a little steam and there are the "organizers" to stir the pot you get what you saw these past couple of weeks. Most of the "protesters were either teens or 20 year old. Kids who have absolutely no future---none, nothing to look forward to. That's what the mid east is today- a powder keg waiting to be ignited by an opportunist like al-que da  or the muslim brotherhood.
You can be pretty sure there is tyranny in the country when the government pleads the fifth
Amendment !!
