Ouch! The track can't make anything on a 4 horse field going for $200k. Is there another biggie going right away that all others are holding off for?
Somewhere in Kenya a village is missing it's idiot.

No, Chapter and Herbie are the only two fat cats in that division. Daylon is a poor man's third.

Wouldn't this be a nice spot for Goo to prove himself? I almost forgot; he's taking a nap in Maryland.

I am sure he is eating too.

Prove what to whom?
He proved it by beating them all in the Colonial.
Including the Hambo winner who sat the rail the whole mile. And went inside 3 pylons and still lost.

I like you Elgin and am not gonna pick fights.
But how the horse will be handled has been laid out.
Its not going to change.

His career will go well beyond this year.
This is all in the best interst of the horse.

Poor Market Share drew the nine in his Saturday elimination for the million dollar Canadian Trotting Classic. Five go on. Tetrick knows the script. He won't do anything foolish just to win a $40,000 elimination.

I love that horse and always root for him.

And TT is a professional. So you are correct.

They have already put so many hard miles on him.
Will be interesting to see if he races a 4 year old and beyond.

Mister herbie has made 760 000 with 9 starts as a 4 year old.
so you can make money after your 3 year old campain.

But with market share they are making all the money as a 3 yr old. Which i get.

Unless they get hurt, you will see them all racing at 4. With the new rules they have to or their offspring won't  be allowed to race in the big races

Now thats good for the sport.

What are the parameters?

They have to race at a certain level?
How many races? Etc etc

There are no million dollar races for aged trotters. The Maple Leaf
