It is better for baseball to keep two teams in relative contention for a while into the season. Asdrubal or not, Tribe will still be on top of central at the end of the week. It's just a matter of how many games. lilcheerleader

Yes, the better teams tend to "give the other guys a break" at various points of the season. Kind of let them catch up a little....play  the scrubs just to tease the lesser teams, and then bam! Turn out the lights, the party's over.
