The Art Major filly, Major Look (14-1), set a new TR for 3-YOFP and went the fastest mile of the meet--:50, for Jeff Gregory. Tetrick came overland with his filly into the last turn, but hit the rail at mid-stretch. Last quarter 26.3.

TT has gone down with two high profile 1-9 fillies--Jewel and Cookie--at VD tonight. He has another chalky filly--Jamie Sue--coming up in the ninth.

The field blew by Real Nice the last sixteenth at Pocono. Sometimes I forget how mediocre--or worse--most of the Levy horses are.

TT got half a loaf in the ninth: his 1-2 shot, Jamie Sue, dead-heated with 10-1 Brownsville Bomber.

Cheddar won a 15K pace at Georgian in :49.1 tonight, paying $2.10.

Mel Mara won an UC elim in :49.4 paying $2.60. He may be in a position to profit off of WN's misfortune.
