Tomorrow the good ones are racing at Western Fair, Big M, Vernon, Pocono, Buffal, Tioga... Northfield....oh, wait.

I've said many times that the really good ones look like they're just throwing their front feet trying to get more track. What a thrill to see one that has that much desire.

Wow! The final goes for $500,000. There were eighteen others entered in the eliminations tonight, so he probably doesn't even default into the consolation. And you have the SBSW the week after that. Kind of screws up his schedule for the NA Cup.

The colt is apparently sick, and there isn't much you can do about that. Maybe JJ will take him out on another :49.2 qualifier.

Last year the big pot of gold was in the Battle of Waterloo and Carl cluster bleeped that with a ridiculous drive.

Jimmy Takter's American Ideal filly, Romantic Moment, who was a step below Jewel, Economy Terror and Cookie last year, just broke Peelers TR for 3-YOPF at VD. Tetrick drove.

Tetrick is having and exceptional night so far and I believe it is going to get better

Palone just played Montrell's love of front-end speed in the 1st div of the Pa SS at Pocono. Montrell left hard and cut most of the mile with the two, Easy Again (2-5), while Palone sat the pocket trip with the one, the McArdle colt, Mcerlean.

Montrell zipped around the track--27.4  56  1:23.2, and Palone came up the inside to beat him by 3/4 in :50.1. Mcerlean was 2-1.
