The Molson Pace eliminations are Friday night at the Western Fair Raceway District track in London:

In the first Molson elimination Up The Credit left hard off the rail and carried Atochia to the quarter,  where Gingras finally took the tuck. JJ went an easy :29.3 second quarter, then hit the three-quarters in a very manageable 1:25. At that point Atochia blew by him followed by Campbell and Clear Vision. The latter ran Atochia down in the stretch. UTC went backwards into the last turn and failed to qualify for the final. He looked as bad as he did at the close of last season in the Matron. They bet him down to 7-5 off three qualifiers. Atochia was the favorite at 4-5 and the winner was 4-1.

Aracache wired the field in a fast 1:51 in the second elimination. Foiled was first up on the second turn and came up a little short. Razzle Dazzle was third for John Campbell, and the fourth place finisher--the last qualifier--was Machal Jackson.
