Springsteen Sets The Stage for a New Era Of Outdoor Concerts at Vernon Downs

Vernon Downs announces a continuation of its recent $8.1 million dollar expansion by reviving the racetrack as a major concert venue!
 
The Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band concert on August 29 will rekindle the use of the outdoor grand stand and track for major concerts. Vernon Downs has a history as one of New York

I'm not a fan of "The Boss", nothing against him but he just doesn't impress me. But he's a big draw and good for bringing attention to the track. Kudos to Vernon mgmt! thumbsup

I am not a fan of Springsteen's politics, but what Gural is doing is very good for the sport. I heard rumors that Springsteen signed with Gural just to piss Gov. Christie off. Makes sense-the Boss is huge in New Joisey. Having him go play in New York is slapping the face of Christie.

Good for you! I wasn't knocking him... he's just not my cup of tea. I was never a big fan of Elvis, Sinatra, or The Rolling Stones either, but they had to be great acts to sell so much music. Different strokes...
