Post Positions sure have made these tough races to predict.  Real Nice is going to go 200 mph off the gate and someone from the inside is going to look to secure the pocket. I see Foiled Again leaving for position and probably coming first up.


In the Matchmaker final there is going to be a few horses who want the front end so I'd love to see how that shakes out.

According to DRF website Brennan states he has the best horse in Matchmaker final

Thoughts? Predictions?

Foiled won an open handicap at YR a couple of years ago where Bartlett left with him from the eight. He made the top at the quarter and cruised from there, but the competition was much weaker than what he'll face Saturday. I agree that Gingras will probably follow Real Nice out and try to get position. Maybe Pierce will try to make a hole for him.

On the other hand, there's plenty of speed in here so coming overland into a slower second half might be a good strategy for Gingras to embrace.

Last year Brennan was able to control the final with Real Nice on the front end, backing down the second quarter. However, Blatantly Good is no Real Nice.

If they go out as hot as one might expect, it opens up possibilities for those that save grownd and are well placed at the end.

Peelers is obiviously all class. Krispy Apple could be a monster... she is just plain impressive. Foiled seems to be the top of his class. I love watching these super-nice horses perform.

Will go with Art Z in the Levy.  Figures to get a good trip and see him picking up the top prize in a shocker.  If not, it will be all driving god's BM's fault!
