The Graduate eliminations begin in two weeks and Put On A Show is a nominee

Looking forward to the good ones returning to M1!  (Not to knock Arch Madness, however, who has looked super!)

Would be nice to see Golden Receiver prove his worth and go up against Foiled Again.

As for Put on a show, don't race her, she barely got up last week against a crap field, keep her against her own for now.


Alexei loves the big M , I would say it is Foiled and him in the Graduate. First over grind after being scratched sick. And David Didn't move a muscle.

Rockincam, OML, Meirs, Foreclosure and Powerful Mist  go in a wo25 at Pocono on Sunday.

Opinions on Foiled Again are a little premature, IMO, considering that he could get roughed up pretty bad from pp 8 Saturday.  You never know how much that can take out of the horse when he's constantly bagging heads with the other top ones.

Well he got parked in the final last year and then went on to win the Graduate. If any race was going to zap him, watch the Open on Adios day from last year! He then and went on to win his next start after that. He just never quits.

He's a year older.  I'm not sure what that means to him but I know it's not getting any easier for me!

The good thing about the Graduate elimination, which is at M1 Saturday, is that like the Levy,  the top two horses

Bettor Sweet beat Foiled in the BC, the US Pacing Championship and the Bettor

This was some kind of horse race tonight. Rockincam is some kind of sharp right now. To beat a field like this first over is a tribute to his toughness. Golden Receiver raced great too, and Foiled Again was parked the entire mile and looked great. Meirs got in road trouble, but raced very well. Still think he is a notch below this group.

Gingras and Campbell both drifted out of the gate and marked time on the outside near the back of the pack. Gingras got around it by finishing third with Foiled, but Bettor Sweet was seventh.....Rockincam was really nasty. His race was similar to the brave mile Alexie went for Brennan in winning the Haughton last year.

Somehow the bettors figured this one out.  Foiled, who obviously was not trained down this week, had no early money at all & didn't fire while following the 1st over 5-2 winner.  Golden Receiver was his highest price all year & couldn't stay with the 1st over 5-2 monster.  Finally, Rockingcam, a horse who has raced & has been beaten many times at PPK (Stephen Farrell) has become this good at age 6!  Congratulations to all those sharp 5-2 handicappers.

Did I mention that Rockingcam was 5-2 while Meirs Hanover, who missed Rockingcam by a nose, was 9-1?

Pretty harsh saying Foiled Again "didn't fire". I don't think very many horses in the history of harness racing have paced in 1:48.2 in the month of May after being parked the entire mile from the outside, cover or not.

Agree Gary. Paced a back half of 53.1 off equal 26.3 third and final quarters. It just shows how high FA has set the bar.
