Someone w/rubber gloves gave her a quick check-over around 9am cam time, then took her out of her stall.  She's about 8 days late (so I heard via chat).  Keeping an eye on the activity and will post if something comes up -- or out.  Tee hee.

I had one go a month over once. The USTA wouldn't register the colt until I submitted an affadavit from the breeding farm and the vet who did the insemination... complete with breeding date(s). Colt was completely normal. (probably wasn't afraid of the dark either)

What in tarnation was the affidavit for?  To ensure there wasn't foal swapping?

They just said they didn't think a mare could preggars that long. With DNA testing now, I doubt you could ever get one by them. I bought a yearling from a big farm that was accidently cross-bred when someone grabbed the wrong syringe of semen for an insemenation. The DNA test caught it right away. He turned out to race well on the trot & pace.
