Racing with someone who is more polished helps drivers immensely.
Brett Miller (and I acknowledge that I am biased) has the best set of hands of any driver I've seen in recent memory. Matter of fact about the only driver other than Brian Sears that I've ever seen that possesses the natural talent in his hands that Brett has kneeled down to Dave Palone today.
Okay, that's what I figured.
When you speak of great hands the first that comes to mind is Buddy Gilmour. Never saw anyone who could communicate & get horses to move better than Buddy. If no driver could ever possess a whip...
My personal opinion (who cares?) is that if Brett & Dave both went to YR or M1 to race against Sears, Brennan, Tetrick... Brett would have far more success over the long haul.
Regardless, congrats to Dave on the inevitability of reaching the ultimate milestone.
