Balmoral 10/11/14
« on: October 11, 2014, 12:04:30 PM »
American National Night off a good week last week..some heavy chalks early and some good races later on..my picks

Race 1 - #1 Chivaree Hanover - been chasing much better than these..using with 2,3,6
Race 2 - #1 /1A - Burke entry looks too strong here..using with 2,3,6
Race 3 - #5 Mr Lelands Filly - likes oval and small field helps..using with 3,1,2
Race 4 - #4 Father Patrick - looms very tough to beat..will be up close thruout..using with 2,5,6
Race 5 - #3 Big Boy Dreams - Gingras choice from Burke..using with 6,2,4
Race 6 - #9 Shake It Cerry - will have to buck the post but she rarely loses with any kind of trip..using with 1,3,5
Race 7 - #1 Earndawg - cover trip likely here..using with 2,5,4
Race 8 - #3 Fiveknuckleshuffle- 3rd start back after 18 month layoff..picks up Magee..using with 10,7,1
Race 9 - #6 Uncle Peter - speed tightner in last..should be upclose thruout..using with 2,5,8
Race 10 - #2 Act now - 2 huge efforts off mini layoff..picks up TT..using with 6,1,9
Race 11 - #8 Limelight Beach - is peaking now..lead or 2 hole..using with 10,2,7
Race 12 - #6 Foiled Again - 10 yr old just is game as can be..using with 4,1,7
Race 13 - #10 No Fear No Doubt - drops and capable of blasting..he will need to..using with 6,5,9

good luck everyone

True Mags, chalks early then wide open after that.

$200 Win Parlay, trying to pull a Jug and double up my $200.
Race 1 #1
Race 2 #1
Race 4 #4
Race 5 #3

Race 5: #3 BIG BOY DREAMS: although not ml fav he looks tons best
$0.50 PK5: 3/19/14/346810/124568  = $60
$0.50 PK5: 234/9/14/36810/12568 = $60

Race 6 #1 Lifetime Pursuit: only because I think Shake It Cerry pulls the same thing I LUV THE NITELIFE did last year and loses off a bad trip.

Race 7 #4 Buckle Up: driving god Miller wire to wire
Race 8 #3 FIVEKNUCKLESHUFFLE: like Mags, I like this one. fairly competative in M1 B2 earlier.
Race 9: #8 Master of Law: Takter back driving (did I just write that?), closer was torched trying to make the front. Thinks he rolls by these easily. May be my best bet of the night.
Race 10: I'm going to flip a coin or just use ALL.
Race 11: Look outside to 7-10 for one of the Burke/Takter horses. Wide Open.
Race 12: If speed is good I'm probably going to try Foiled Again. The only other two I'd play are Clear Vision or Thinking Out Loud.
Race 13: pass

See you all there  yeahbabydrinkingguy

I'm not in love with any race, I do think there is a HUGE driver change in the 8th even though I don't care for the horse or trainer the switch might get me if he has enough meat on him.

Race 1  #2 Mystical Wishes- expect to beat the heavy fav.
Race 4  #6 El Titan- has a lot of work to do and a wee bit o luck to beat the heavy fav, Father Patrick. However, he is lightly raced, looks to be on the improve and I'm sure we haven't seen his best yet.
Race 7 #2 Roland N Rock-  showed offer good odds.
Race 13   #3 Smoke Rings  with 5.6.7.10

Good luck all

Don't like the driver?  slaphead Dan Noble is the George Brennan of Ohio. I don't know the trainer, but Danny Noble can light one up his first start behind a horse.

I'm definitely a better handicapper than I am a bettor.

Had JC on my Pk4, was live to two juicy Pk4's ($9K & $12K) but got caught in the last strides.
