Hey Gary, what's going on with the Injuns?

If it wasn't bad enough that fans have taken to ripping Chief Wahoo off their shirts and caps - they call it "dechiefing" - then the White Sox take 3 out of 4 from them.

Don't look now but the gap in the standings is getting wider.  The Sox are winning every possible way.

I feel for Cleveland.  First the brunt of the joke in the "Major League" movies, then the brunt in the new football flick, "Draft Day" with Kevin Costner.   At least in the new movie the team looks to have made some great moves and ends up with all the right pieces to the puzzle.   I don;t know what's worse, being a frustrated Indians fan or a frustrated Cubs fan.  Hey, wouldn't it be something to see a Indians vs Cubs World Series?   In my dreams.....

It is more frustrating for a Cleveland fan because Cubs fans still have the Bulls and Blackhawks, so they get some taste of winning.

The Indians do lead the league in one thing: lowest attendance, just ahead of the White Sox.

It was 36 degrees when the White Sox-Red Sox game started last night. I didn't see the attendance count in the box score, but it looked like there were about 50 people at the game when the WSox won it in the 9th inning.

I think every home game for the Indians has been cold

With FA signings like Swisher (you guys in Chicago know about him), the Tribe won't be going anywhere. Now if Dolan wants some players he has to open up his wallet and hire some decent scouts and put money into the farm system like they did in the 90's.

I don't know if time with the Yanks changed him, but with Swisher it's always about him.

With Jeter, Rivera, Rodriguez and Company in the clubhouse, that obviously wasn't going to fly in NYC.

Swisher loosens up the team and helps them have fun.  He brings more to the game than just his at bats. 

They should have kept Harang and resigned Scott Kazmir.  Salazar isn't ready yet and Carrasco is best in the bullpen.
