I am very surprised Jeff Gural blinked on this one.

But, with the short advance notice (when he made the announcement, many of the top three-year-olds were already in negotiation to stand at four), it probably makes sense.

A)Will Woodbine do the same? and B)Will the Breeders now buy-in? B is the $64,000 question.
