I'm going to take a shot with Orb on top and Oxbow underneath in the super.  Speed should hold better today, so Orb is no gimme.  Of all of the horses that were up near the pace in the Derby, Oxbow actually didn't fade as badly as the others.  Also, Stevens seemed to be very confident in Oxbow going into the Derby after a failed bid from off the pace prior to that.

Definitely not a lock, but I might get some value.

Good luck guys!

Not going to say anything!!!  rflmao1 But if Orb wins, then your going to the Belmont! shug's house! You have a Jock that has been riding there for a couple of years and a hot one at that. I don't expect a Kent D or Stewart Elliot ride there!!!Again I'll say this till the day I die, Ol Stewy said it was the mile and a half that got Smarty Jones beat. No Stewy, it was your premature move that got Smarty Jones beat. Bailey did what any other jock would do. You TOOK the bait.

Looks like Orb should romp.  However, just in case, I key boxed him.  have to root for Shug V the "chemists"

If my Preakness pick is anything like the other bets I have made today, then Orb should be good. I played the following trifectas.

4 with 1-5-6-7-9 with ALL
1-5-6-7-9 with 4 with ALL
1-5-6-7-9 with ALL with 4

Congrats to Orb on winning the Preakness and my sincere apologies to the connections of Departing for giving them the Kiss of Death. rflmao1

I am a GREAT jinx rflmao1 rflmao1

Congrats to Lukas and Gary Stevens. I should have hit the Tri, because Itsmyrattyday was my pick in the Derby. C'est la vie.

I'm very disappointed in myself. Two years ago I put shackleford on top of animal kingdom because he was the best of those near the lead in the derby. I didn't make many bets with him on top or even a single win bet on him.  I really need to stick to my theories that I develop over the years instead of going against them

Join the club.  I bet oxbow on top ,along with a few others in the Derby, but didn't play him in the Preakness.

I see the coach taught Pletcher how to race THREE horses in a race and win!!! Don't mess up with a horse crawling on the front and give instructions to the other riders to STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HIM!!!  How many races has Stevens won since this comeback? Been watching him almost EVERY race and if he doesn't have the front end and crawling, HE DOESN'T WIN!!
