Ashley Juggs Judd May run for the Senate in Kentucky.  Although I don't like her political views, she is more qualified for the Senate than Obama was.


Late last week, actress Ashley Judd dined with a handful of influential Democratic insiders in Louisville, Kentucky. The list of invitees at the dinner, held at the home of Christy Brown, the widow of Brown-Forman executive Owsley Brown II and first reported by WHAS 11, was a who's who of Democratic politicians and operatives, including the commonwealth's only Democratic congressman, John Yarmuth, and former party chairman Jonathan Miller.

Judd hasn't decided yet if she'll challenge Republican Leader Mitch McConnell in 2014, but she's certainly laying the ground work for a potential campaign. Judd has talked to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, who had success running in a conservative House district in New York before entering the Senate, and has been in touch with the Democratic polling firm Global Strategy Group, Democratic strategists said.

Definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer and if you see her up close, not the most attractive person in the world. Even though she hasn't lived in Kentucky in several years, she is probably a better candidate than was Hitlary Cartoon when she ran for the senate from New York.
Having said that she is immenently better qualified than was Barry when the dummies in Illinois elected him to vote "present" in the Illinois senate.
Ashley comes around several times a year to appear at the UK basketball and football games. She was, at one time, eye candy for the tv cameras at those events but as she has aged and porked up a bit she is fast losing her appeal. Still Hitlary was elected as were the likes of Pelosi, Reid, and Maxi Waters so....................................!

She was married to Franchitti but they have since separated and the divorce is pending.

a wonderful person to me and in my eyes will always be beautiful.
