Epic thread and all we have proven is Raber used some outdated rules in Ohio and took possession of a horse that belongs to someone else?

Raber=no good.

At least we agree on that.

Marvin Raber is very good for harness racing. His recycling of old crippled horses and saving them from becoming dog food is very honorable. A whole lot of people just don't care-why, one guy I used to train with said "hey, dogs have to eat too." I disagree. I say let dogs eat cats!

So his these are members of the USTA and Amy is not.
The line about Horsemen's Reps not being able to hold USTA memberships is completely FALSE.

Amy is the Rep for Northfield through the Buckeye HHA, she is not a member of the USTA.

Tom Blakenship is the Rep for both Scioto and Lebanon through the same association (BHHA) and has been a member of the USTA (#8444N6) since 01/1976 expiring 12/31/12 (so current in his membership).

Also, just to name off a few more:
Terry Finch - H/R for MHHA (NY) Holds a USTA Membership (expires 3/2013)

Ozzie Cole - H/R for SHHA (NY) Holds a USTA Membership (expires 12/31/12)

Pete Antosh - H/R for PHHA (PA) Holds a USTA Membership (expires 12/31/12)

Oh and Mark Ford trainer and Usta Director so has Amy been mislead.
Much like the rest of you wanting to believe Marvin is a hero not a Zero.
Well you Buckeye state have certainly got the attention of the of many.
rescue horses crippled, forging documents to the registry to be able to fill races for racinos horse bought out of how many slaughter auctions?
By the way you have any idea how many Thoroughbreds went to rescues center and ended up in Canada  in the slaughter yards? In fact Canada slaughter yards have been seending so many back to the US.
Well so much for us do gooders.

No, due to my job I am not an USTA member......I've never owned a horse myself and had no desire to get my trainers license......might rethink it though.  :-X

If Amy was a trainer or owner she would have a USTA license, she is neither.  That is what she is saying.

She also never said that she couldn't own a horse and be the rep or train a horse and be a rep.

You also claimed that I said someone was trailer trash because I said that 3ww called someone one.  Yet you don't seem to think any worse about him for it despite the fact you were making me out to seem like a bad person.

You can hate us and be mad at us or whatever all you want, but get your facts straight instead of saying misleading or inaccurate things.

Jeremy pointed it out.........never said I couldn't be........there never was a reason to be...........my 18 year old son was a USTA member and owner when he was 2 years old.........I probably have 20 family members who are USTA members.........I think I have my bases covered on USTA membership........and as I alluded too, if I decide to get my trainers license in the near future I will get a USTA membership.

I used to have a stipulation on owning, training and driving horses when I was full time, but three or four years ago when things went south and all us reps went to part time we were allowed to own, train or drive.

Your attacks are now........not only baseless.......but kind of weird.  idunno

Just a few clear-ups for Fuzzy-Wuzzy

Amy is the Rep for Northfield through the Buckeye HHA, she is not a member of the USTA.

It is the OHIO Harness Harsemen's Association.

Tom Blakenship is the Rep for both Scioto and Lebanon through the same association (BHHA) and has been a member of the USTA (#8444N6) since 01/1976 expiring 12/31/12 (so current in his membership).

Tom is no longer employed as a track rep but when he was hired the board (took a while) changed their policies on reps training horses and I strongly supported him.

These gentlemen are not employed by the OHIO Harness Horsemen's Association so it is pretty irrelevant as to what they are or aren't according to the USTA.

Now, Fuzz-ster.........all you got to do is post a couple questions and not be so gosh darn pissy and I'll gladly answer them.....like I said.......I've got lots of skeletons in my closet but few secrets any more.........I'm pretty well beyond embarrassing myself.

Further more.........why don't you answer some?  Why the attacks on me?  I don't advocate horse abuse........I don't advocate thievery.........I also don't advocate false accusations with out substantial proof.........I'm just kind of kooky that way...........Marvin is not a personal friend of mine, he is an acquaintance.......if my memory serves me right, he hasn't caused any trouble in the past and pretty much keeps to himself.

It's pretty simple really.........when Mr. Raber has charges brought against him you can crow about it.

Until then you keep dishing the dirt on me........for some unknown reason.........and I'll keep giggling hysterically.....because I think I'm pretty damn funny.

Amy it is kind of like attack ads during the election season.  When someone has nothing good to say about themselves they have to just attack others even if their attacks are baseless.
