I see Marks is still juicing Brainard's stock

No sir Gary, that was not what I implied at all. Amy expressed disbelief in the fact that Tatker had been caught with needles, so I showed her the article and the connections that Jimmy had that got him off without suspension. Well MINOR suspension.Now if a guy is caught sneaking needles into the test barn just before big races (which the horse went on to win) shouldn't some warning bells be going off? The other examples listed - Big Bill Robinson, Ledfords, Bill Elliot, hell even add Coleman if you want, have all been off the charts successful for years before they all came up positive.

But this has deviated from the original post - my belief and it is MY opinion - is that Brainard is juicing through her "friend" Josh, and that she has been allied with some very sketchy well known shady characters in harness racing. I don't even think that is up for debate.

Im not trying to be an asshole Gary, but you keep trying to somehow poo poo the fact that Brainard is and has been involved with the shadiest of the shady in this business.

I can understand the fact that she is your friend, but it doesn't mean that her choices with regards to who she chooses to associate with and train for haven't been noticed and documented. Sketchy would be the polite way of describing them.

He was not caught in the "test" barn........the ship in or where ever are totally different from the "test" barn.

I wasn't in total disbelief.......I did not know the situation.

There have been horsemen who have had syringes in their possession on a racetrack after treating mares or sick horses at farms and fairgrounds........forgotten about them and were punished for "forgetting" about them.

I don't think $10,000 is a light sentence........and yes you can say Tatker can afford it, but it doesn't matter "who" it is, it matters that the punishment fit the previous punishments.

Before we stabled at a pari mutual track we always had medications which are given intravenously............are we crooks?

Now being at a pari-mutual.......we have larger vet bills and numerous oral administrations.

Do you think running a bottle of penicillin through a horse, treating with bute or banimine, administering vitamins, minerals, training one on lasix which requires needles makes a horseman a crook?

The scenarios are endless.

Tatker was willing to race his horses with confidence because he KNEW there was nothing performance enhancing in them........the the subsequent testing proved it.

What is so laughable to me is how someone can come up with a minor medication infraction in a horse.....which is gambled on.......and they are deemed a crook....but there is barely a NFL player who could pass the strict testing which horses undergo......and they are ALSO wagered on. 

Heck Joe Blow going to his regular 9-5 job with Ambien, Percocet, or even freaking Tylenol cold is more "doped" up than our horses are!

He shouldn't have BEEN ALLOWED to race when found with possession of needles in the Retention barn - its specifically outlawed as part of the retention program. Yet he was allowed to race. Not because he was worried about testing positive, but because of the fact that the guy who owned the horse was the CEO of WOODBINE.  He (Takter) was even suspended - but the horse was allowed to race! Do you honestly think that they would have a horse that the CEO owned test positive for anything even if he was positive? Give your head a shake.

I never got a dollar fine or a day's suspension, probably because the both the pre-race blood and post-race urine  testing was inadequate. 



It is none of my business who Tracy associates with. She has done nothing wrong as far as I can tell. She associates with me, Tim Tetrick and Erv and Julie Miller. Are they bad too?

But seriously.......I don't think his horses should have raced with syringes coming out of a detention barn............but do I think they were administering performance enhancing harmful drugs?

I could care less about Josh Marks. He is a non-issue. Kesmodel is one hell of a trainer. Bulletproof Enterprises is not involved with Tracy and I highly doubt she ever got all the money they owed her for training when she did train for them.

Bulletproof Enterprises is not involved with Tracy and I highly doubt she ever got all the money they owed her for training when she did train for them.

I know other trainers who were involved with them and wouldn't be now due to not only their court proceedings which came to light but their lack of ponying up when the bill came due.......I know ignorance is no excuse.......but I would have known nothing about them until a couple years ago.
