My old buddy Bill Irvine was just popped for a high blood gas reading. This just goes to further prove to me that the blood-gas test is bullshit. Dee Hotton also got popped a couple of years ago for a high reading.

Dee Hotton and Bill Irvine are two people I've known forever. I worked for Bill when I was in high school, paddocking horses. Bill races all of his horses ice-cold. Dee races all of her horses ice-cold too. If the vet says to give something 48 hours out, she gives it double that.

I am calling bullshit to the blood-gas testing system in Ohio.

        It's not a warm feeling to see this happen to longtime friends.

 In Ohio, and as the Racinos open the regulation and rulings will only get more stringent, as they did on other places.
 The commissions and additional employees required for same must justify their wages/quotas.

 The cost of fines will also increase. The $25 and $50 minor infractions will be long gone.

YEah, but this guy is stone cold innocent. This same horse had a high CO2 reading one other time. SHe just has a naturally high reading for some reason. That's what irritates me so much. This guy would not give a horse anything, not even lasix most of the time.

         One of the guy's implicated in the "Mich five", is as clean as they come (despite his brothers abilities), and everybody in Michigan knows it except the Mich Gaming Board.
