Will the trainers and owners do the right thing ?

Every year come Derby time we all know there a few horses who do not belong in the field.
Granted some owners have never been in the Derby and deserve to take a shot with a horse even a longshot.
However can anyone make a real case that Secret Circle should continue on to the Derby ? I know he has the earnings and the owners have paid the fess but this looks like a no brainer to me.
This horse was absolutely crushed by Bodemeister and was struggling to get the mile and eighth.Asking him to get another 1/8 of a mile would be cruel IMO.

There are 7 horses in the top 10 in graded earnings I give no shot at all

1. Hansen

2. Daddy Long Legs

4. Dullahan

6. Wrote

8. Sabercat

9. Take Charge Indy

10. Secret Circle.

All of these horses, barring injury, will be in Louisville.

I agree with the 6 8 9 10 horses on the list being tossouts.
The weather might help the the top 3 o your list.

I actually think Secret Circle deserves to be in the Derby based on what he has done. That said, if you watch the Arkansas Derby, you can tell he was done with an 1/8 left and he has no chance of getting 1 1/4. Personally, I would skip the TC with Secret Circle and try the Met Mile against the big boys. I think Secret Circle would make a great Miler, but WTFDIK?

I have made up my mind. The one horse I will bet to win is Bode.

I see the fav being 5-1  maybe 6-1 and I will Box him in ex with Gemologist

Pezz, Mike Smith might of said he was going to rate Bode, but they interviewed Baffert and he said the horses's best is when he goes to the front, no rating. That tells me that there probably will be a speed duel. Again even though Creative Cause didn't have a stellar workout. I think there is more Lemon to squeeze from this horse. He beat Bode before. I don't think he liked the rail in the Santa Anita. Plus I HOPE he wasn't cranked up all the way. Also he raced without blinkers for the first time. The cheating blinkers he wore in his WO are not the one's he's going to use KY Derby day. Harrington said he's working him two more times, one at SA and the other at CH.!!! I love that!!

That's what I said before!! Songandaprayer he we come That's why now I like Creative Cause more!! He has the Hot Rosario riding plus in the Santa Anita they took off the blinkers for the first time. BUT who knows what will happen until Derby day. Will see who defects!!!
