Hmmm. I just watched the replay and it sure looked like Danny sitting in the bike. I'm a little surprised his colors would still fit him though.

Got to call my buddy, who is the biggest Ross fan alive. He has got in fistfights with people arguing about the orange man. rflmao1.I know he would have called off work last night if he had known (maybe he did).Anyone know if this was a one time thing or is he coming back?I thought he was a judge at Buffalo or Tioga.

Bad as he drives, he better keep the judge job. And tell your buddy he can come kick my ass if he wants to-I've been telling Danny a whole lot worse than that for more than 35 years.

As bad  as the Northfield driver colony is,If he came back full time,he'd be a top 5 driver in 4 months....lol..I still remember him winning the "Survivor Challenge" for $3,000 claimers 1 year..In the final, while coming off the turn with the lead in the final, someone was going to go by on the outside, and Dan just let his horse float, and float, and float on out towards the grandstand, keeping the horse from passing..Yeah,they took him down, but that drive is cemented in my head forever...I believe i had him on top on all me tickets, and the guy did everything he could to win the race...lmao

In the early 1970's Jan Ross I believe worked for the USTA as a countyfair intern. I believe Jan was maybe a sister to Dan?
Is she still active in the sport?

Dam, he would be the percentage champ. Dannie didn't drive for some people. I will NEVER forget one time he went to the Meadowlands and was in the last race. I stayed up watching the replays on TV. He was something like 17-1 and won easy!! They showed his face across the finish line and he was laughing and smiling!!! I ALWAYS got along with Dannie. Even saved Blaney's ASS one time. WE claimed a horse from him and that was a second horse the barn took from Ross. As we were in the paddock Blaney was MF'ING the paddock judge. The presiding judge called me into the office and asked me if I heard Blaney and I said NO!!!!  rflmao1 rflmao1 rflmao1
