O/T The next great country song
« on: February 06, 2012, 11:54:40 PM »
Randy Travis was arrested for public intoxication early this morning in Sanger, Texas. He was in his car, wine drunk, and parked outside of a Baptist church. Is this not the makings of a great country song.

I have a feeling this could rank right up there with the David Allen Coe song from the 70's that was about Mama, trains, prisons. etc

I'm going to give Randy Travis the benefit of the doubt here. Being the man of God that he is, I imagine he thought the wine was truly the blood of Jesus and got to loving Jesus so much he just kept partaking. Been there, done that.

Amen.  bowdown
