Small tornado hits In The Sulky Arizona office!
« on: January 21, 2012, 06:21:41 PM »
A small tornado just stuck down at Pamela's house, which houses the Arizona office of In The Sulky (and part of my recording studio) in White Hills, Arizona. She just called and said it took out her paddock, and blew a 50 ft. section of her horse shelter's roof off. The roof was blown within just a few feet of her house on top of her dog pen.

She thinks it did several thousands of dollars of damage to her corral, and the horses were running loose in her yard. Fortunately she is fine and apparently all of the horses are fine as well. She said the noise scared the living hell out of her and her neighbors.

The good news: the house is apparently fine she has insurance to pay for the damages. The bad news: Ryan and I will probably be an integral part of the repair crew that puts the stuff back together. 4pezz2

Pictures will be posted soon.

I realize these pics suck, but you can see the damage somewhat. Pamela texted it to me. In the foreground is the roof from the horse stalls, which remained in the background. The large concrete thingy is a fence post that was concreted into the ground.

Pamela managed to get the horses rounded up and back into the corral somehow and dragged some panels into place so they are not roaming her yard, which is all fenced in as well.

That's the important part!  Everything else can be fixed or replaced.
