Limelight Beach scratched
One of the favorites in the Breeders Crown 3-year-old colt pace, Limelight Beach will be scratched from the $531,250 final according to co-owner Mark Weaver. "He AFibbed (heart went out of rhythm) a few days ago. It is fairly common, but he wasn't 100% and it just wouldn't have been the right thing to race him. We are disappointed because we thought with a win he had a chance to win 3-year-old divisional honors." Waver added that Limelight Beach is not eligible to any other races this year and would likely take a winter break.
