I enjoy seeing these old photo's that depict harness racing's history.   You've amassed a great collection!

Hey Dale,
The majority of these photo's that are scanned from the magazines are hardly of photo-quality, and rather, something that could potentially be used for posterity and in identifying original photo's and/or negatives that may exist or appear some where else.

The project has been quite enjoyable for me personally, however that rewards should potentially be far beyond my own enjoyment.

A few months ago I scanned nearly 3,000 harness racing negatives, most of which were absent any kind of identification. While doing the project, my focus was upon the work itself. however I did add some supporting text to the photo-negative-index where I located the same photo's in my magazine archives. Eventually I'll add identification to the many others as well, however it's certainly not an immediate priority.

FWIW, my Michigan items are few and far between, and should be a major portion of my archives. That down-side is quite dis-heartening.

I also appreciate all your old articles and photos Don... You do a great job and are a true historian of the game. You've forgotten more than most have ever known!  thumbsup
