I do refute it!!!!!!!!  You are comparing apples and oranges.  When Churchill does race, it is more than 2 days a week.  As I said No major T bred track races year around.  Santa Anita?  Belmont ?  Saratoga? Keeneland? Arlington?   Now, let's compare the Big M to Woodbine and Mohawk.  They only race 2 days a week?  Yonkers? Chester? The Big M last raced the start of August.  Where have they been the last three months?  The BigM is in trouble if they don't get slots.  It seems crazy that they won't, but where politics is involved, who knows?  Christie was just re-elected.  Gural is a huge Obama fan and Democratic contributor.  Christie wants to run for President.  Where does that leave Gural?  Maybe if Hillary ran for Gov. in NJ he would have a chance.
Umm yeah they do. NYRA races the year around. Only thing is they have different meets. Aqueduct, Belmont, Saratoga, back to Belmont and lastly Aqueduct.

Well if you like the Chicago crap , you can turn the lights off for the Johnsons. Mr Gural is at least fighting for it. The politicians in Ill. are worse !

Of course,  but to take one track from that circuit  and say it is part time does not compare to the Big M .  Kentucky has a circuit also.

What Gural is fighting for is slots.  He needs the Big M to get them.  That 's the same thing the Illinois track owners are fighting for.  As for the politicians, yes Il has the worst  but NJ is not far behind.

What Gural should have done ( i know I'm spending his money) is to take a couple of million and used it for purses. Hey give the horse-player some decent stock to bet on and they will come. So will the trainers and owners of the horses.

thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup If IL gets slot the biggest winners will be the track owners, not the horse

owners or gamblers.  IL racing has always been about the tracks stuffing their own pockets and screw

anyone else.  birdienana birdienana birdienana
