He is a yankee and all I can find is the cubs are paying the bulk of the salary in 2014.

Cashman is grasping.

The Phillies and Nationals both suck.

If I lose my Phillies mets better record bet this year I will nto be a happy camper.

Ruben Amaro is one of the worst GMs ever for any team in any sport.

I actually pay for the baseball package to watch the Phillies.
Its very tough but since I am paying to view I feel more obligated.

Last night in the ninth inning Laynce Nix and a guy named Kratz batted in the 9th.

Yea it was their 5th loss in a row.

Phonse will do well in Yankee Pinstripes.  The Sox are having a bad year and frankly, does it matter if they are 10 20 or 25 games below .500,  No. They are rebuilding their farm system much like the Cubs are and I predict they will be more successful .  I remember when I went to see the Sox play the Phillies back in 2006 I think,  many Phillies fans were wearing brown paper bags with eye and mouth holes over their heads. Things can change fast in baseball.  (except for the Cubs)We shall see.  Went to only my second game of the year Monday.  Got free tickets right behind the plate.  My first game was with free tickets also.  My last game of 2012 was with free tickets the Sox sent me.  Maybe I'll go to one more game and even pay for the tickets.

Hal,

I used to be a season ticket holder at Shea for many years. Free tickets is the only way I will attend another game to see the Mets in person.

I haven't been to an Indians game since Chris Perez complained about people not showing up.  I don't care that he complained but I never saw an Indians player cheering on people at any marathon or other races I ran in the area.  The wouldn't even have to pay to cheer on us.

The White Sux wouldn't be nearly as boring were they to hire a play-by-play guy who was even a little interesting.
"Nickles" Harrelson is without a doubt the worst, most pathetic "homer" speaking for a MLB franchise and his sidekick "Stonehead" is not far behind.

Sterling of the Yankees rivals him in my opinion

Did you see the special on Hawk on MLB network?  He split logs with Abe Lincoln!!  I've seen Stoney at the track(smoking a big cigar), so he is a harness patron.  You could get your tongue torn out with red-hot pincers for speaking such heresy!!!
