Jay Privman Pletcher says none of his 5 Derby runners will run in Preakness. Verrazano had gash on left hock, likely stepped on, will be ok. #preakness

I wouldn't run any of them either. None of them were that good, Revolutionary was supposed to love the slop and made a nice run but wasn't good enough. Might as well freshen him up for later races down the road. Palace Malice and Verrazano both were cooked being on and close to that ridiculous pace, Overanalyze didn't run at all, and Charming Kitten should be on the turf.
