James Liutaud, founder of Jimmie John's food chain has announced that he is relocating the home offices to either Fla or Tx, where they don't hate successful businesses. Might consider Indiana. His offices are very near me, and he pours a ton of money into the local economy by conducting all training here. He pays for over 2,000 motel stays a month, along with all the boost for local restaurants and stores, movies, clubs & bars, etc.

Gov Quinnochio succeeded in passing a 68% increase in Jim's personal income tax and a 39% increase in his corporate tax. He'd be an idiot not to leave.

I heard about this (Jimmy Johns) when he first proposed the tax increase
Then you have Caterpillar, Sears , Motorola, The Board of Trade etc. crying like little girls and he folds like lawn chair so he gives in to them but screws everyone else?

I still do not understand how he was elected or what his agendas are

There are many others leaving quietly. John Deere are building all their new facilities outside of IL, they just don't publicize it. (don't want the flak until after they are gone) Deere is building plants in IN & TX. I'm 30 minutes from the Indy border, and many of the IL businesses are shifting their HQs just across the state line, so they can still service their customers without getting screwed by Quinns bunch. Farmers around here now buy their implements through a local dealership but the transaction takes place in Indiana, where they don't get screwed. IN Gov Mitch Daniels makes Quinnochio look like a dumb 3rd grader.

Indy Gov Daniels summed it up pretty well when he said, "It's like living next to the Simpsons... that dysfunctional family down the street." Many trucking companies from other states now have Indy license plates. Mitch is loving it.

 Business people aren't stupid; they know that if they are taxed out of business everyone suffers right down to the janitor. Dems just can't figure that out.
