« on: May 30, 2012, 10:08:35 AM »
Pick 4 thoughts......

Race 9 specifically.....opinions on #4 The Hilo Kid...seems to be setup here, but everyone will have him on PK4.....can we beat him?

Race 7....again, seems like #6 Elkhorn Damina.....might use 3,7,8,9......

All opinions welcome.............

Elkhorn Damien looks really good. I would use him and #3 Sentmental
Journey.  9th race) Hilo Kid is far from a lock. To many strange things happen in Balmoral Trot races. You have to have him on your Ticket
but I would use a few others including Earthquake Ernie. He is
on the comeback trail.

Agree on race 9....looks wide open to me, good spread leg IMO...#8 Tropicana Special would be a nice bomb, lol I'd like to see the odds on the #2 Petruchio, but that ain't happening.

Race 10...can't use both Chalks, not using #2 Moon Bay Dancer....#3 Maladar and #5 Annie In Flight (1st time L) are the bomb throw ins. Hopefully mix and match correctly.

Reach against the faves....
6 with 4,5,6,7,10 with 2,5,6,8,9 with 1,3,4,5,9

Conservative.....
3,6,7,8,9 with 4,5 with 4 with 1,3,4,5,6

Good Luck

If Maladar wins the 10th race, I may never go to the track again.

Believe it or not I only bet Maladar one time and he won.  The field was soooo bad I couldn't believe I was playing the Rat!  He should be at Thunder Ridge in a $500 claiming race.

Well, Itz Alive was 0-16 with no functioning lines on view in the last 12.......won drawing off.

Race 9 was the Bomb Leg, IMO Pick 4 paid amazing considering pretty much 3 Locks won the other legs......only takes one to upset the applecart

Itz Alive is 10 X better than Maladar.  Maladar is a rat who might get up for for 2-5 under ideal conditions.  I am well aware that anything can happen.  But that doesn't mean I have to bet on it.  At 150-1, maybe even I might briefly consider Maladar.  The damn horse is a family pet.  When he wins his "charity race" he will be 3-1 or less.

Walter was there with a big group of family and friends.  In the winner's circle. Marcus was thanking Walter profusely for the opportunity to drive the horse. He sat like a statue in the bike while breezing by the opposition.  Another lifetime mark.  I think he could go in 1:54 right now if he had to.  By August, who knows?

I saw that on the live feed.
It would be nice to see the horse contiue to do well
I was shocked back when Paisley quit the game.
I had a chance twice to talk to Butch yrs and he was very kind.

I wish both hm and Riccolo continued success !
