handwriting analysis
« on: April 06, 2012, 03:50:53 PM »
The following was written across the Oct 1943 Hoof Beats that I'm currently working on.

Might anybody decipher this name

The first part is "Picture of"

believe the first name is "Edy" (except an extra letter).
Last name Bihe x

The last part is for "page 19"
----------
FWIW, the reference to page 19  (even though as hand-written on the issue cover) is incorrect.
On page 19. are pics of Scott Hudson behind Rhytmic and Jay McGregor and are clearly identified.

On page 18 is the linked photo and the young boy on the far-right is NOT identified.
Text read:
A notable line-up back in the "good old days"-on the track fence at a big line meeting. Scott Hudson is at the right, with a boy, unidentified at his side. The others are George Spear (extreme left), and Mr. Geers.

"Pictures of Early Bikes", none of which are shown in this people photo.
 Thanks to Bill.

I'll leave the images up for a short while, prior to removing.

As close at the kid is sitting, my guess is that he is a relative.
