Been having some serious computer trouble lately, so I have not been around here very much. Apparently I spilled water on my laptop on Monday and it got into the logic board and components.
Took it to the Apple store, they diagnosed the problem as an $800 issue. Now I dearly love Apple computers, but taking one there for an out of warranty repair is exactly like going to a car dealership after the car is out of warranty....very, very expensive.
I finally found a guy here in Las Vegas who thinks he can fix it for less than $300, and if he cannot fix it, it is free.
Only problem is that he says it will take a week or so to get it back. At least I have my phone, Ryan's iPad, and my iMac to check online with, thank God!
