what is the circle with an S or an R inside it beside the horse's name  mean?  thank you.

It means that the horses father was standing stud in that state.

if you look at the Meadowlands race #1 tomorrow, you will see it on the 4,7,8.

Thank you Pezz!  It is on the trackmaster programs and not on Northfield Park printed programs.
