Padre does have a lot of talent.  Maybe Dave Magee will give him an easier drive and he won't break tonight.

Another tough card.  I try and hit or or two good ones a night and  hope it pays well. My best bet from Saturday won, paid only $5.20 to win, but the exacta paid $241.  That's what you have to hit to make a nice profit at Balmoral.

Tonight I like #1 Little More Ram in the 6th,

Love the new Pope's name.  Saint Francis was known as a great friend to animals and is often pictured with wild birds landed on his shoulder or on his finger.  If I could remember my Latin, I'd write the new Pope and ask if he has any horse tips for us.

Don't know why Magee was 10 lengths off at the Quarter. If he wanted
the race and at those odds I thought he would, he would have been
much closer. Lost the Win money, but bailed out on the exacta. I
wish I would have boxed the tri and super.

Thought it was a very poor drive.  Gave the horse little chance to win.  But that happens often at Balmoral.  Next time.
