Cal Expo - afternoon racing

We are racing Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon this week at 2:35pm PST.  It's an early Christmas present for the horsemen!  Actually, it's because Los Al is racing in the afternoon, due to Hollywood Park not racing, and if we tag on to the end of Los Al, it really helps our handle.  So you all have a great opportunity to wager on our 8-9-10 horse fields!!   

For me, racing every day, 8th on Friday, 7th on Saturday (Quality Goods making her debut for us), 10th and 14th on Sunday!  My mare, Wild About Eagle finally gets to race against mares on Sunday.  She has been racing against boys since the meet started due to the lack of higher quality mares racing, and the fact that the barn has two others.  I think she will enjoy the change in competition.

Just saw the schedule.

My DVR recorded about half the card last Friday and Saturday. Being down with school for the semester and the kids in school, I spent a morning fast forwarding and came up with a couple that I will be watching

I see on Saturday, a mare I have always liked JUNTIQUE has a new home. She raced in Ohio was a cheap horse but a hard knocker that raced I believe for Stovall..... She has been in the Coblentz barn and has little success since moving to Cal Expo......

She makes her debut today for the Petrelli stable......

Mr. Coblentz has had very little success with anything out here, so having this horse in a new barn can only be a plus at this point.

Shooting for Pancetta on Sunday --- Is it ever going to stop raining on the Left Coast ? Seems like any more if you look at a program, handicap for the slop !
