NYSS 3-Year-Old Colt Trotters At Buffalo

The first $70,000 leg for 3-year-old trotting colts at Buffalo went to the Credit Winner colt Delano. The race, despite the winner equaling the all-age track record of 56.3, came across as a Marx Brothers production. Archanger, a very good Credit Winner colt, won the second division by eight at 1-9 for Morrill. He and Delano are both staked to the Hambletonion. The exacta, with Ray Schnittker's 30-1 Slugfest finishing second, paid $19.80 and the $1 tri, with 30-1 Turbulent Flight finishing third for Charlie Norris, paid  $36. 25.

The announcer, who must make the ML, noted that he made Archangel 3-5, but someone changed it to 5-2.
