Not to take anything away from Sebastian K, Sweet Lou or any of the nice horses here tonight, but that track is a total joke. These times are ridiculous and should rank right up there with the Colonial times that no one ever took seriously.
What's the difference  especially when you have horses getting marks at Delaware (OH) 1/2  or even Lexington for that matter? They are set up for speed (track surface plus the banking of the turns)..

I'm Just Saying, I'd sue them, no doubt.  Unless of course, I was under the wrong assumption with old info and couldn't get it through my thick head until it was too late to pull out of the race or I didn't even know about the $25,000 until somebody gave me old information and I was pissed that I had to pay $5 to park because I'm a cheap bastard with no class.  If that were the case, I'd complain and not sue.  That appears to be the road he has chosen.

And BTW, why was the only complaint about paying for parking coming from the guy who walked away with the most money?

But the bottom line is you have to ask yourself that if it is so clear that he is owed the money & has vowed never to come back (aww, we'll miss you), why wouldn't he sue them?
From what I understand the bonus was never written out of the conditions even though the raceoff was eliminated. In all likelihood the bonus will be awarded then eliminated from future races. As for bitching about parking , I think Mr. Young just stated an example of how poorly managed he feels the event is. If a losing owner said it , it might come off as sour grapes/petty. As was stated earlier Jug management has a full year to cross the T's and dot the I's to get it all right....it seems to me and others they have failed in doing so.

Dont' phucking complain then when you don't have any horses racing at your track. 18 for 122 at the Meadowlands and you are no longer welcome? What a bunch of shit. I hope some state builds a brand new mile track with slots and puts the Meadowlands out of business. No Brennan, No Sears, no trainers, no racing dates, and a guy who decides whenever he wants that you are no longer welcome...the chances of this place ever becoming what it was are dwindling by the minute.
His 2nd trainer got caught tubing a horse who was in to go that night when the track investigator was walking through the barn.. Gural not taking the excuse he was going to scratch him after treatment....One less cheat, good riddance.. Remember Strand Hanover?

I think a little indecisiveness from Montrell coupled with maybe the filly isn't super horse after all...

Just surprised its non wagering. You really think they were afraid of a minus pool with somewhereovertherainbow?
Actually that was my original thinking but saw the Gerwetz entry and thought otherwise. The exacta of SWOAR and Bestbestingin would have killed them..

I think there is common ownership with the Holloway horses  ,which create only 5 betting interests thus no wagering.

Maybe NJ horsemen should be kissing Gural's azz for keeping the BigM functioning with a bright future ahead...They'll get their cut but he's the one who put his money and that of investors on the line. Let's get the casino at the BigM first before the horsemen start drooling all over them selves for the blood money..

Speedy recovery to Phil, enjoyed his stories of Ritmo and his pool playing....

When the biggest and only news that comes out of harness racing is about cheating trainers, when most local papers don't carry stories on the sport except for the cheating (I blame the PR dept. of the tracks ) and the racinos basically treat harness racing like the ugly mooching step child......well maybe the horsemen groups have to take the initiative and do something positive and then publicize the crap out of it(and I mean more than putting it on YouTube)

ps.  my wife is a pharmacist

Please list the names of all your horses so I don't miss betting on them.

Please place an RX after the names of those you really think have a big shot.  Thanks.

that would be cheating..maybe the guy with 200+ horses could help you..good luck

a  pharmacist  can create a compound(flumethasone) and slightly change the ratio of ingredients and still mimic the drug in pre/post race testing. The point being in certain strengths , it can be used as a masking agent. The suspension tells me that the strength tested was beyond the the boundaries of being a late application. WEG doesn't know what's been masked but the lab has to work   in breaking down the sample which takes time to find the masked ingredients.
