Granted , I never had a horse of this caliber, BUT the only time I trained race speed was when I wanted to Cash. And my horse finished real strong or all bets were off.

C'mon Gary,,, Thats why there are 1/8 and 1/16th poles. Hardy ever missed a mile by 2 secs either way. His last quarter of 30 was like us finishing a 2 08 mile in 34+.

I think DR. Moore better stick to being a DR.-------- Left the plugs in,but had plenty left... I'll bet he couldn't reach the plugs and the horse was empty.

Very nice tribute Gary...
On a side note,, My father-in-law passed away last Saturday . He fell Easter Sunday and the following day had his hip replaced. He ended up with pneumonia and passed away 6 days later. He always said he was coming out here to Vegas to watch his great grandson play baseball. But, Because of his loyalty to his wife,(she has Alzheimers) , He never made it out here.
My wife went home for the funeral and got back here (Vegas)yesterday. She told me that "E" gave her a ball he signed and asked if she would place it in the casket next to him since he never got to see him play. I'm so proud of this kid.

FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo reports suspended WR Josh Gordon's reinstatement process has been held up by another failed drug test.
Garafolo makes it clear that Gordon isn't necessarily suspended for another year, but it's not looking good. Collected by the NFL in early March, Gordon's test reportedly came up positive for "marijuana and dilute." "Though the level of marijuana was below the 35 nanograms per milliliter required for a positive test, the diluted sample is considered a positive test," per Garafolo. Gordon is currently living with Johnny Manziel in L.A. Garafolo also reported that several people "close to Manziel" are concerned that Johnny Football "continues to party in Los Angeles, even as his NFL career is at a low point."

The Angels have released outfielder Trevor Gretzky, as noted on the MILBmoves Twitter account. The release of a 23-year-old Class A player might normally pass by unnoticed, but we mention this one because of Gretzky’s background. He’s the son of hockey great Wayne Gretzky, and the Cubs drafted him in the seventh round back in 2011. The Angels then acquired him two years ago for Matt Scioscia, the son of Angels manager Mike Scioscia. Gretzky hit .242/.312/.318 for Class A Burlington last year.
