General Harness Racing Discussion / Re: Anyone heading to Hoosier tomorrow ?
« on: September 21, 2019, 07:05:02 AM »
Had a great night, caught up with some old friends and made some new ones. Hoosier is honestly the best track I've ever been to as far as taking care of the customer, it's a shame their handle isn't better. Emily Gaskin is one busy young lady, and being taken care of by her and her sister was pretty nice.

1st off it took me a week to remember my login info  4pezz2

I changed my car horn to gunshot sounds. People get out of the way much faster now.

Gone are the days when girls used to cook like their mothers. Now they drink like their fathers.

You know that tingly little feeling you get when you really like someone? That's common sense leaving your body.

I didn't make it to the gym today. That makes twenty years in a row.

I decided to stop calling the bathroom the "John" and renamed it the "Jim". I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning. ***

Old age is coming at a really bad time.

When I was a child I thought "Nap Time" was a punishment. Now, as a grownup, it feels like a small vacation.

The biggest lie I tell myself is..."I don't need to write that down, I'll remember it."

I don't have gray hair; I have "wisdom highlights"! I'm just very wise.

If God wanted me to touch my toes, He would've put them on my knees.

Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators. We haven't met yet.

Why do I have to press one for English when you're just going to transfer me to someone I can't understand anyway?

Of course I talk to myself; sometimes I need expert advice.

At my age "Getting lucky" means walking into a room and remembering what I came in there for.

Actually I'm not complaining because I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 60 years later. I don't have to go to school or work. I get an allowance every month. I have my own pad. I don't have a curfew. I have a driver's license and my own car. My wife is not scared of getting pregnant. And I don't have acne. Life is great.

Hope the sound is off on the tv for you because these commentators are horrible.

Joe Buck has to be the most irritating person I have ever heard, even worse than Hawk and Erin Andrews combined, and fox was horrible, no strike zone 90% of the time and limited camera angles, sound goes in and out, I hope they never get it again  noway

I don't like Hillary Clinton, don't like Trump either.  I can't even bring myself to vote for either.  I do however stop reading what anyone says once they start with the name calling because it is just a complete waste of time.

General Harness Racing Discussion / Most Memorable Year In My Lifetime !
« on: November 04, 2016, 08:10:23 AM »
A lot of great things happened to me this past year, it made me forget the Hawks this year but they had a great run that made me forget the Cubs during that stretch lol

Cubs coming off possibly the GREATEST world series ever, all kinds of records set, every media outlet says it very well should be the GREATEST game 7 in ANY sports history !!!!  lilcheerleader

Getting ready to go to the parade, my connections got me VIP seating in grant park with security and escort in and out of Chicago, this is going to be a great day, if anyone else is going let me know.

The only thing that could make this a perfect year now is Hillary getting elected, it won't erase the 8 years that GW spent ruining our great country but it'll make the painful memories much less, I can't wait for another 8 great years of a Clinton in the White House  bowdown bowdown bowdown

Garth Brooks wins entertainer of the year !!  lilcheerleader lilcheerleader lilcheerleader yeahbabydrinkingguy

In the " real world " at a "real job " a postive test does not always result in immediate termination.
I supervised union and non union workers and the company offered treatment for 1st time offenders.Better to try and save good workers instead of destroying them for life

I heard of that union, local Oo  ?? I was in the union (IBT) my whole life and no such thing EVER existed !
The only thing close to that was IF you went to your company and asked for help, they would help you out,
with treatment and time off, BUT, if you were called for a piss test and then failed or asked for help at that
time, see ya !!! The union wouldn't even back you up  nononono

Just what I want is to be a tradesman and have some dope head or drunk working near me  slaphead

If you want to be a high paid "blue collar" worker and can't handle the drug policies then that's your problem,
go make your $9.00 an hour, plenty of skilled people still out of work that would be happy to follow the rules.

Many employers would just fire you for refusing to take a drug test.   30 days is less than forever.   What about MGM? I would imagine you would be adios for refusing a drug test.

thumbsup thumbsup . The only reason he refused is because he was dirty, in my line of work you had to sign a release stating that if you refused you were automatically gone, NO EXCEPTIONS !

If he can't handle the requirements of his job, he should practice asking "would you like fries with that" I heard those places don't test   nononono
