not sure where the outctry came from for the Mgmt to put passing lane in ?

Those that I know that bet there, haven't begged for it

Those that I know that race there weren't begging for it

Those on message boards haven't been begging for it.

bring a castration kit, may be what the horse needs

comes down to the bargaining agreement. Gordons case is one that is defined in the CBA what the penalties are to be.....

still agree, it doesn't make sense

Several Chicago trainers had ones in the Qs. Have no idea if out OTBs will carry the signal.  There are always Xbet and Twinspires. It will be interesting.  Was capping the Big M for Friday.  Had to stop after several races, didn't see anything really worth betting on.  Will  be a card that offers some opportunity with horses and trainers coming from varied places.
christ my schedule is nuts and in hopes of ping this weekend.... No shot

Which isn't a bad thing as majority of these horses are going to need a couple of starts so they can

1) get tighter as the winter has been bad.  Some trainers will use as an excuse to miss days while others will have horses tight from the get go
2) get classified. In the first race there is a nice mare of Morgans that looks like she should be 1-9 against the field of bottom claimer and condition horses. And you can't tell me Virg doesn't want to win the first race in the history of the track..... New Track Record

Good luck to those and if anyone goes, want a full report plan on being here next weekend.

No Northfield Friday, but will have Meds..... Friday should have good weather......

What do you think.

Well after watching the replays, you would have been better off with a sales catalog than a program.mwith 8 entered in the sale, there were 5 winners and a second.....

3W although the facility didn't meet our expectations, at least you can say you did it.

With Miami Valley opening in a couple of weeks, I have already seen the failures of this building. Hopefully the paddock area is received well by the horsemen.

Amazing that the last horse was okay

Maybe I am in the minority, but I hAve a problem when 99.9% of the races are filled by local horsemen who get a first of hopefully many purse increases of 10%, which works out to a couple of hundred bucks in most cases. But something seems wrong that in the first month, they announce they are kicking in $250,000 to a race that will probably be dominated by east coat invaders as they have in the past.

Northfield, OH --- Less than one month after the opening of the $265,000,000 Hard Rock Rocksino, Northfield Park has announced the creation of the $500,000 Carl Milstein Memorial to be raced on Friday, August 15, 2014.

The Milstein Memorial is an early-closer for 3-year-old-colt-and-gelding pacers.  Northfield will add $250,000 to the purse, for an estimated $400,000 Final and a $100,000 Consolation.  The top eight purse earners in 2014 that enter will make up the field for the final, with the next eight drawing into the consolation.

Seeing some new faces already popping at Northfield and havin success.  Some with checkered past.

Time to rename the track to Arm & Hammer downs at The Hard Rock

The real question is, how much of the fines did he personally have to pay? I would think any owner who TT drives for would pay all kicking or leaning back fines.

 idunno thumbsup

I twice paid for a drivers fine.  One was a slow quarter which my horse won the race.

Is Ohio testing even capable of testing for EPO or DPO

Maybe Fred Aboid is available to go down as beard.

14
Those horses he has been racing that just don't seem to stop.....

Apparently it wasn't hay and oats or a change of shoes

Popped for EPO...... Anyone surprised ?

How do the local horsemen allow management decade after decade let all these horsemen come into Northfield and just run over the locals stealing money...

Who will beard for him, not that it ever happens !
